This day draws to its eminent end.
A loon whistles off in the distance,
Sea gulls squawk on the horizon.

Soft, blue lights fade … into darkness.

Today, I saw an osprey scoping out the tower in The Park. I wonder if we’ll be treated to a nesting pair this year. I have my doubts, due to development within yards of the tower. I emailed my concerns to Three Rivers Park District, but they must be busy celebrating spring …
