Tonight's Sunset, the 30th

I sat in the rain. And again, I waited.
The geese didn't even come around to honk out a hello.
I 'spose they're off, hunkered down in some farm field for the night.
They should be safe; I doubt they are warm and dry.
I'm headed home to get myself warm and dry.
All I got to show for this day is this sunset picture.
I hope you enjoy my day as much as I have.

Tonight's Sunset, the 15th

Today’s weather; deceptively cold.
Tonight’s sunset; receptively warm.
Midnight's dreams; conceptively copasetic.
Leo still rules!

Tonight's Sunset, the 11th

42; and it feels like a wet refrigerator outside.
I’m hunkered down on shore, sipping hot coffee. A driving wind pushes a mist in my face as I anxiously await a glimpse of the setting sun.
A gaggle of geese honks it's way across the thin ice and settles down for the night.
Soon, grey turns into dark turns into brightly colored dreams.
Oh, sweet and precious sleep … even if only on thin ice.
