Fishing away the moments that make up a dull day,
I’ll fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way.

No digging around on a piece of ground in my hometown.
No waiting for someone or something to show me the way.

It's amazing, how different the lake can look, one day from the next.

I feel like I could walk right out on the water, towards this day's sunset.

As I gaze out across the lake, a cold, south wind numbs my fingers. I hardly notice, until the sun is near set.
