Home again!
At least, among friends!

Spring storms all afternoon.
A fresh breeze fills the air.
Green quietly bursts forth,
On the horizon.

I’m stranded here,
Only a day or two.

But, somebody’s going somewhere.
I can say that, for sure!

Two days, and I still haven't made it off Campbell Lake's shore!

Looks like a 'development' coming in our future.

They could call it 'Tick Town Estates'!

Straight in front of me.

While I long for tomorrow’s friendships,
What I seek most is tomorrow’s sun …
As it sets.
Between a Rock and a Hard Place.

I can’t help it; still figuring out where I belong.
That’s LIFe, I guess?

Spring’s burst forth,
On sodden hill.

Plants come to life,
At rains’ sweet will.

A fierce wind blew out of the South, most of the day.
Near sunset, it calmed: So did the lake.

Time goes tick, tick, tick.

Yep, ticks are out. And, the only way out’a ticks is straight ahead, into the sunset!
But, I don’t wanna get wet! I move ahead anyway, and pick off ticks all night.

That’s life, I guess; searching for the sun to set.

I took my eyes off the sun for a moment.
Must’a been lookin’ at the stars.

If you could see as close as me,
You’d be lookin’ into the future!

At least, as far as light is concerned.

I spend some time hiking a Park near my home. The park area was an old farm. You can’t imagine how much trash I see stashed throughout the Park.
As I try to scope out a view of this day’s sunset, I can’t take my eyes off all the trash I see …
Explaining it here would be a buzz kill!

There was a beautifull sunset this day, out and over Progress Estates in Spring Lake. I guess you have to live here to know what I mean. Still, I hope you enjoy this view. I sure did!
