Today's Sunset, December 15th
You can see it, if you look down at the shoreline … the uneasy ice identifies one of the many springs that keep Spring Lake filled full.
I wish you could sit with me, on the lakeshore at sunset, listening to the ice cracking and shifting beneath our feet.
The cranky cracking sounds begin from across the lake … and the sounds seem to last for minutes … and the cracking continues to run straight and right under our feet.
When you venture out on the ice, it’s not enough to BELIEVE that the ice is safe; you have to KNOW that the ice is safe. Otherwise, you could get a frigid bath! Or, worse.
If you want to ‘experience’ crashing through thin ice, check out ‘Never Cry Wolf’.

That movie will give you the chills!
